Make Sure Your Pet Meets Our Requirements
House of Dogs ATX cares about your pet's safety, comfort and happiness whenever they're staying with us. We want to be sure they're set up for success!
Because of this, we have a few requirements for every pet in our care.
🐾 Vaccination Requirements* for All Dogs:
- Rabies
- Rabies
- DHPP
-Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
*Vaccines must be administered by a vet
🐾 At least 3 months old, although 4 months of age is preferred for the health and safety of your pet. All rounds of vaccinations must be completed prior to coming in. Puppies are still developing their immune systems at an early age, thus there is a slightly higher risk factor for young puppies in any kennel environment.
🐾 Spayed or neutered if over 7 months (there are exceptions to this rule--contact us to see!)
🐾 All dogs must be on a regular flea preventative.

Pass Our Temperament Test
If your pet is over 7 months old, we require they complete and pass a temperament test. Temperament tests typically last 2 hours, include complimentary pick up and drop off, and are completely free of charge.
What is a Temperament Test?
During your pet's evaluation we'll be doing touch tests, reactivity tests, and a few other things to gauge their temperament and better understand if we're the best boarding or daycare option for them. Don't worry--we set the pups up for success. It's a new environment with new people and lots of opportunity for fun from their furiends. We just want to make sure they'll be happy and comfortable during their time with us!
Under 7 months?
You can still book a complimentary Temperament Test if you'd like! Otherwise, we require a meet n' greet. Your place or ours!

Fill Out Our New Pet Parent Form and Contract
The New Pet Parent Form can be found at the bottom of this page--we'll shoot over the contract within 24 hours of receiving this.
Every pup is different. This just gives us a little more information about your pet, their needs, and how we can ensure they enjoy their stay.
